Meet & Greet
Put your nerves at ease with a pre-shoot strategy session either via phone or coffee date (up to you!). Being in front of the camera is no easy task! Instead of meeting the day of the shoot and trying to feel natural in front of a stranger, we will already be fast friends. I know, you could just hug me, right?
How long does a shoot last?
There are no shot clocks or timers that buzz when you’re out of time. We simply shoot til we got it! A simple headshot session can usually be knocked out in half an hour, and a branding session can last up to 2 hours. So the short answer – as long as it takes.
What should I do with my hands?!
Instead of trying to figure out how to stand and where to put your hands right in the middle of our session, you will already be posing experts thanks to the Posing Guide! Tips and tricks for looking slimmer, younger or simply less awkward in your photos. You’re welcome.
TurnAround Time
I am one of the fastest photographers around – turn around time is only a few days for your online gallery! I usually turn on The Office or Friends and binge edit your photos til way past my bedtime. As excited as you are to see your pictures, I’m just as excited to work on them!
How many outfits can we have?
As many as your heart desires! Some people make it as simple as hair up, hair down, jacket on, one without the jacket. But others don’t want the pictures to look like they were taken at the same time. So you can change outfits, we walk around to find different backdrops, and you’ll end up with tons of variety that you can slowly leak to your audience over time.
Do you work with groups?
Why yes, I do. I don’t set up shop at your business with a backdrop and a bunch of flashes. We’ll step outside, get some fresh air and natural light, and take a mix of individual and group portraits according to what you need. Contact me for custom quote.
Do you work with Social Media Influencers?
Absolutely! Sometimes these look like “a day in the life” style or sometimes it looks like a mini shoot every quarter. If instagram is your jam, I’ll leave room in the photos so that you can crop them into square.

Reach out through the contact page, then we’ll set a time to hop on the phone to discuss vision, outfits, location and compare calendars. We’ll determine if headshots or branding is right for you. - Make it Official
I’ll email you the booking proposal so that you can pay the invoice and sign the model contract. You’re officially on the books! - A Wee Bit of Homework (it’s fine, you’re fine)
You’ll receive a Style Guide and a Posing Guide to help you be set up for success. - The Fun Part
Photoshoot time! Yes, you read that right – it will be fun! You’ll bring all your knowledge of what to wear and where to put your hands (see Homework above) and I’ll bring the Dad jokes and the mad camera skills. - The Really Fun Part
You’ve got mail! Your online gallery will arrive in your inbox and you’ll select your favorite images for download. Then you can do a little happy dance, and get back to updating your website, getting that job, showing off your brand or whatever it is you do!
