Fall is here!
Ok I know….in Florida, we just have to use our imagination. But more accurately – Fall Family Picture season is here! Now is the perfect time to update your yearly family photos and have plenty of time to send cards.
This year, I’m keeping it simple. No props or vintage vehicles this time, just beautiful green background with the focus all on your family. Wear fall colors or bring an Autumn throw to wrap around your families if you want a more “fall” feel. Check out the exact location below from a recent senior session:
Why minis?
Minis are perfect to get an updated family portrait without the length and cost of a full session. Maybe all you need is a few photos for a Christmas card or maybe you know that your children’s attention span won’t last long.
Fall Family Minis
When?
Saturday, October 9th
(back up rain date of Sun Oct 10th). If this fill up too quickly, I may open a second date.
Where?
John Chestnut Park, East Lake, FL – right at the entrance of the park.
How much?
$200 to book, with 5 photos included. Digital only packages. You will have the opportunity to buy additional digitals/prints/products/cards separately.
How long?
These are 15 minutes sessions booked back to back, so DON’T BE LATE! You will lose your time, we won’t be able to add time since a family is waiting right behind you.
Who are minis for??
These are not limited to family photos only. Anyone who wants a handful of photos at the park – families, child portraits, maternity, couples, senior pictures, or headshots are all welcome! (No newborn or wedding).
Families & Kids
Update your family photo with a session that matches your toddler’s attention span. (This is a short 20 min session – immediate families only!)
Senior Pictures
If you don’t need a full senior portrait session and just want a few shots to announce your graduation, join us for minis!
Headshots
I’m not bringing any props that will mark this as a holiday session. John Chestnut makes a great backdrop for natural headshots!
The Process
- Reach Out
Email me through the contact page with your info, which time slot you’d like, and any questions you might have. - Book through email
I will send a Booking Proposal to your email. When payment is received, you officially have a spot on the calendar. - The Prep
Keep your eyes peeling in your inbox for the style guide, the posing guide and a questionnaire to make sure you are totally prepped for our session. - Arrive Early
Make sure you arrive early, so there are no hiccups with parking. Plan to be 20 min early and just hang in the car (with AC running) until it’s your turn. These back to back sessions have no down time in between! - Sit back and relax
I will edit your photos to perfection and email you with a gallery when they are ready. You can choose your top 5 for download, or you are welcome to add extra digitals, prints or canvases to your cart.

MEET YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER
Hey there, Tampa Bay! I’m Whitney Boyd, your natural light photographer for all your family and headshot needs. I’m a mom to three littles, so I know the drill with kids and photos and I’m up for the challenge.

Are you pet friendly?
Yes! Your furbaby is part of your family and is invited. Depending on the pet, sometimes we need extra time, so you may want to consider a full session.
When is payment due?
Now! Payment in full reserves your time slot. And these will fill up quickly, so don’t delay.
What if it rains?
The make up rain date will be Saturday, October 23th, same time same place. There will be no other opportunity to make up our session and there is no refund if you can’t make it. Please check your calendar for both Oct 9th and Oct 23rd.
Do I get a print release?
Yes! You can get high quality prints through my professional lab, or you can print on your own to your heart’s content. This are your high res digitals to do with as you please.
