The ever popular
1. Clearwater Beach.
This beach is a little more touristy, but for good reason. We’ve got boardwalks, tall grass and soft, white sand that stretches on and on.
Parking and crowds can be a challenge, so we need to plan for that. Sometimes, we might start with taking a few photos in the shade of the buildings. This gives us variety in our gallery and allows for extra shooting time (because we can’t hit the sand too early – it’s too bright). We hide in the shade until the light gets softer closer to sunset and then go make magic.

Clearwater doesn’t just have the beach you know! Check out this romantic rooftop shoot from a top of a parking garage! I’ve used this spot for epic senior photos as well (but the family wished to remain private so I can’t show those off to you =)

Just around the corner from Clearwater is this historic goldmine, the Bellview Builtmore Hotel. You’ll fall in love with this front porch! (Don’t let these photos fool you, I’m not offering wedding photography at this time.) How dreamy would it be to book a getaway at this hotel and get family photos on the front porch while you are all relaxed and together.
