What it’s like to work with Whitney Boyd Photography, your Tampa Bay Family Photographer

Let’s Recap
You’re looking for a photographer in Tampa Bay who will make you laugh, prepare you to look your best, and deliver stunning photos that you can cherish forever. Not just digital photos on a harddrive somewhere or old news at the bottom of a facebook feed, but also photos in hand – Quality prints and products from a professional lab that can stand the test of time and be heirlooms for your children. You want a simple and easy process or getting these photos from concept to up your walls. Your time is valuable. You want this done and you want it done well. Sound like you?
THE PROCESS
PRE-SHOOT .01
Reach out through the contact form and we’ll chat about details to make sure we’re a good fit. I love to get you on the phone, but email is the best place to start because I usually have at least 2 kids on me at all times.
After the session fee, comes all the fun of planning and prep! You’re receive a questionnaire and we’ll nail down the details of time, place, and vision. Then I’ll send you my guides on posing, wardrobe, and dressing for your skin tone.
SHOOT DAY .02
The shoot will take place on location (either a park, downtown, beach, or your home) and lasts about an hour. There’s no hard time limit! Usually “golden hour” just before sunset has the best light, but exact time depends on location.
I promise I won’t judge you if your kids are acting like fools. The goal is to simply have fun and each enjoy each other while I capture you and your people.
POST-SHOOT.03
After about 2 weeks of editing, “you’ve got mail!” Once you preview your photos on slideshow day, you can choose which collection you’d like to buy.
Then you can enjoy your photos! Download, print, share and order products all directly from your gallery, while you relax in your yoga pants.

Meet & Greet
Strategy session either via phone, coffee date, or in home consultation (up to you!). Being in front of the camera is no easy task! Instead of meeting the day of the shoot and trying to feel natural in front of a stranger, we will already be fast friends.
Prioritized
I never overbook so that I can prioritize my clients every step of the way. I only take 3-4 clients a month. This allows me to be present for you during planning, and to edit your photos quickly. You can text me pictures of your outfits or questions.
Wardrobe Consulting
This 25 page online magazine (don’t worry, it’s mostly pictures!) walks you through what to wear and how to prep your family for you photo session. Many clients send me outfit photos for feedback. I also have guides on posing and dressing for your skintone.
Turn around Time
I am one of the fastest photographers around – turn around time is only a about 2 weeks for your online gallery! I usually turn on The Office or Friends and binge edit your photos til way past my bedtime. As excited as you are to see your pictures, I’m just as excited to work on them!
Sneak Peaks
There are no in person, high pressure order sessions here. You’ll pick a day to gather the family together and enjoy your pictures from the comfort of your couch! With yoga pants on…. and maybe a bowl of ice cream. You get a sneak peak at your photos before you have to choose a collection.
Digitals
Digitals are included with each collection! The collections vary in price based on the number of digitals and print credit you receive. Many photographers only offer prints, but these are your pictures and they belong with you!
Professional Printing
Skip the orange spray tan look that most local print labs yield. Pro printing offers museum quality albums, canvases & prints that last for generations. Proofing has never been easier. You do all the shopping and ordering directly from your gallery, no need for an in person ordering session – I’m here if you need me.
You aren’t investing in a photoshoot, it’s a way to come back.

Session fee does not include digitals and prints, these are purchased separately in the collections. Session fee does not apply towards the collection.

After previewing your images in a slideshow reveal, choose your collection. Most clients spend $1800 on total investment. Please inquire for full package details.

It’s not enough to take good photos. It matters how you take those photos too. If your shoot was stressful and full of awkwardness, those feeling get drummed up every time you look back on those memories. But if we have a relaxed shoot, that is fun and full of connection, we’ll remember all the right things.
