For your entire photo process
Creating beautiful pictures of your family is not enough (that’s the easy part) – I also want to make this PAINLESS as possible for you!
It’s hard enough to coordinate the outfits, spend the money and carve out the time…you don’t need to be dealing with a complicated booking process or confusing packages.
I’ve taken care of everything. My gallery is grandma proof and my process is seamless. Let me show you around!
Let’s Do this
The Process
1. Make if official
Pay the $350 session to get on the calendar! The session fee reserves the date, covers the time on prep, shooting, and editing. It does not apply towards the collections, those will be purchased separately after.
2. Prep
There will be a contract, a questionnaire, and some convos about location, time, wardrobe, and vision. I’ll email some guides to help you prepare – how to dress for your skin tone, posing and wardrobe guide, day before checklist, etc.
3. Shoot Day!
Session usually takes about an hour on location (beach, park, downtown, your home, etc). The goal with be fun, relaxed, with some quality Dad jokes sprinkled in.
4. Sneak Peaks!
This is a 24 hr window to preview your photos to help you decide which collection you’d like. No high pressure, in person ordering apts. Slideshow day is from the comfort of your couch.
5. Gallery
Choose your collection and check out directly from your slideshow page. Your grid style gallery opens up and you can spend the next month sharing, downloading, and ordering products.
6. Heirlooms
A print credit is included with every collection. You can spend this any way you like in the shop – prints, canvases, additional digitals, an album.

I know you’re eager to show off your pictures – after all Mom, you are finally in the frame with your babies! And not the blurry, double chin photos that dad takes of you (we know you mean well, Dad). Each collection comes with some amount of full resolution digital files for your to do with and share as you please!
Print Credit in Every Collection
But let’s not stop there and never do anything with these memories. We don’t want your photos to be old news on the bottom of the feed or collecting digital dust. Let’s create something tangeable to serve as a constant reminder of the love you share for each other. I don’t presume to know whether you need two 8x10s or if you actually prefer an album. A print credit doesn’t box you into a rigid package. You spend it on the products that speak to you!
Did you know that printed photos boost a child’s confidence?
It’s science. Look it up (no seriously, a study was done in 1975 that showed this!). Kids who see their photos up on the wall can see where they belong in the family and that they are valuable. My 3 year old supported this research when she gazed up at the frame photo over the couch and said “My brother always loves me.” So sweet! Even though they fight like cats and dogs at times, she had proof that she is cherished.
I believe in the power of prints.

Favorite Products
Albums
A quality coffee table book makes a great conversation piece. Remember that the top two packages include album design! (Album itself is not included, but you can use your print credit towards it.)
Prints
Skip the orange spray tan look that printing on your own yields. We can accurate color, museum quality paper that stands the test of time. Textured prints, prints in a folio box, prints with hand torn edges – lots of options in the shop!
Framed Prints
You can even buy frames directly from your gallery! One less thing you have do to later. You can adjust the size and matting and check out with a click.
Canvas
A canvas provides a soft, textured look which feels very inviting up on the walls. Some canvases are life-sized (depending on how big you are =)
The Phainting
The Phainting = a Photo + a Painting + people will faint when they see it.
The photo is printed on canvas, then my talented sister highlights it with paint for a unique statement piece!
More
There’s other fun to be had in the shop, like greeting cards and calendars, but some people aren’t interested in printed products at all and choose to spend their print credit on extra digitals!
Common Q&As
What happens to the session fee if we have to cancel?
Since I use the session fee to hold the calendar open for you and decline serving other clients, it is not refundable. In the case of a reschedule due to weather or illness, we simply move that session fee to a back up date.
Why choose a professional lab?
I’m so glad you asked. Places like Walgreens, Costco, and even Shutterfly use cheap ink and even worse paper. We don’t need your baby to look like she got a spray tan! After all the time, money, and brain power you’ve invested into photos, let’s not disgrace your hard work with a sloppy print that will fade with time.
Who gets to choose our images?
It’s a team effort! I will sort through all the hundreds of photos from our session and take out the blinks, blurry ones, and duplicates. The best ones get edited to perfection and put in your slideshow. So even if you go with the lowest collection, you’ll still have the full edited gallery to choose from. The ones that make the final cut will be your favorites, not mine.
What if we don’t want the print credit?
The print credit has no cash value and therefore can’t be refunded. But you do have the option to also spend it on extra digitals, the slideshow with music, or an archive back up of your photos. Anything in the shop is fair game!
Do you offer payment plans?
The full session fee is due to book the date and the full collection is due before the gallery is opened up to you; however, I don’t mind breaking up the payments leading up to that. I know photography is a worthy investment, so I’m willing to work with you!
Why the 24 hr slideshow preview?
Choosing which photos are your favorite and getting them all the way to walls can be overwhelming and get pushed to the backburner. These deadlines serve to help you knock this off your to do list. Don’t worry, slideshow day begins whenever you click the link in your email. Timing is up to you.
Does the session fee apply towards the collection?
No, the session fee covers shooting and editing and the collections include digitals and print credit.
