Tampa Bay Headshot Photographer

Headshots

& Branding

If sitting on a stool

in front of a backdrop, with a bunch of flashes pointed at you is what you have in mind for headshots…then we might not be a good fit (and that’s okay).

We can get more creative than that.

How about beautiful,

Inviting portraits that build connection with you and your audience? Photos that aren’t stiff and aren’t painful to take.

Hey Hey, Tampa Bay.

I’m Whitney, the photographer for people who don’t like having their picture taken.

If you would rather eat moldy cheese than say cheese, don’t worry, I’ve got your back. I consider myself a specialist in making people look and feel amazing.

Some folks are naturals in front of the camera. Others of us are…good at other things. But no matter which type you are, we will make portraits that you’ll be proud to display (pinky promise).

Headshots or Branding?

Do you know the difference?

Headshots

For headshots, it’s just you and the camera. Usually cropped in tight so the focus is all on you.

We will find the perfect outdoor location (beach, downtown or park) for these natural light portraits and you’ll get five digitals for download (with more than five to choose from!).

Branding

For Branding, we try to represent your whole business through photography. Not just a pretty headshot that could go with any business.

Think mock clients, product shots, candids, outfit changes, on location.

Which type of session is right for you?

Headshots vs. Branding

Headshots – Get it Done.

Headshots are for when a handful of updated images will do the trick. Maybe you need to update the bio photo on your website, linked-in profile, or you need to drop jaws with a new dating profile. You can bring multiple outfits, but ultimately, we keep things simple, with the focus on you filling the frame.

You’ll get 5 images to keep with more than 5 to choose from. Use one for your main headshot, use another for your email signature and another for your business card.

Branding – Get it all.

Branding is perfect for someone launching a website, who doesn’t want generic stock photos and an i-phone selfie. If you can show what you do through candids, client interaction, props and storytelling, a branding session can communicate your brand better than a paragraph of text ever will. Why tell them when you can show them?

It’s also perfect for someone who needs to stay in front of their audience on social media. You’ll have tons of images to work with and we can change up location and outfits to make it look like it’s not all shot the same day. You’ll have variety of angles and types of shots that you can use for updates, launches, and all your marketing material.

Headshots – 5 digitals

For headshots, a handful of images gives you a great amount of variety – horizontal, vertical, cropped in and zoomed out. You are welcome to bring an extra outfit. Usually a simple headshot session takes no more than 30 minute. But we don’t go by the clock, we simply shoot until we feel like we got it!

Branding – ALL the digitals

However many “good ones” we get from our session, you will get. No need to sore through which ones to keep and which to toss. I will cull for blinks, unflattering angles, and duplicates. I’ll edit the rest to perfection and you’ll have tons of shots to share over the next few months!

Headshots

What a blessing! Posing for photos makes me nervous. Whitney has an easy-going, and we can do this personality. She loves what she does, and her work reflects it. If you are looking for an out of the box natural lighting headshot; I highly recommend her. If you are a shy senior - do it. My daughter and web designer loved the results too. Thank you, Whitney.

Q & A

Please reach out with your own questions! I’m only a phone call away.

Do you shoot groups?

Yes!

Reach out for a custom quote because price depends on how many people and what you have in mind. Most people craft a custom package with 1 individual headshot and a few group shots. If teamwork is an important aspect of your business, let’s show it off.

Do you offer Wardrobe?

No

I don’t have a client closet, but I can offer a style guide to give advice on what looks good on camera and what is flattering. I also have connections to a style consultant if you want to work with an expert.

Do you provide hair & makeup?

No (that would be a disservice)

I’ll stick to what I’m good at, but I have some great recommendations for you if you need hair and makeup. I don’t mind if they tag along for touch ups.

What should I do with my hands?

I’m so glad you asked.

I have created the perfect visual booklet for you to prep you for your session. The posing guide shows you the best angles and positions to look slimmer, younger and less awkward. I’ll still be there to guide you through the shoot, but you’ll have some moves in your back pocket with this posing guide to boost confidence.

Do you travel?

Only for youTampa Bay

With 3 littles at home, most of my travel is to and from swim lessons and school pick ups. To guard my time for these precious people, I still to serving Tampa Bay (which includes Palm Harbor, Tarpon Springs, Clearwater, Dunedin, Safety Harbor, St. Pete, Trinity, New Port Richey, Tampa, Oldsmar)

Do you work with social media influencers?

Yes!

These sessions sometimes lend themselves to more of a storytelling, “day in the life” style. Reach out to tell me your vision and we can work out a package that’s just right for you. Sometimes that involves serial shooting to keep your content fresh.
