Hey friends.
When my second child was having her first birthday party, I looks around my house and panicked. Every wall and every bookself looked like a shrine to my firstborn. I had taken her pictures (which is more than I can say for my 4th kid), but I never got around to printing them out. I hurried to Walgreens before guests arrived and when I picked up the prints….they made my baby look like she had a spray tan! Simply unusable. I would rather have no photos at all, then have such poor quality prints on display.
All of my photo packages include some digitals, but also include a print credit for this reason. I want to make it easy for you to knock this off your to do list. Spend your print credit in the gallery shop on anything that speaks to you – coffee table album, framed print, canvas, etc. It ships directly to you and is off your to do list with a click. And of course, I partner with some of the best photo labs in the country, so no spray tan on your baby here! We use the best ink and best paper so it lasts the test of time.

Albums
A quality coffee table book makes a great conversation piece. My top two packages include album design! (Album itself is not included, but you can use your print credit towards it.)
Prints
Skip the orange spray tan look that printing on your own yields. We get accurate color on museum quality paper that stands the test of time. Textured prints, prints in a folio box, prints with hand torn edges – lots of options in the shop!
Framed Prints
You can even buy frames directly from your gallery! One less thing you have do to later. You can adjust the size and matting and check out with a click.
Canvas
A canvas provides a soft, textured look which feels very inviting up on the walls. Some canvases are life-sized (depending on how big you are =)
The Phainting

The photo is printed on canvas, then my talented sister highlights it with paint for a unique statement piece!

There’s other fun to be had in the shop, like greeting cards and calendars, but some people aren’t interested in printed products at all and choose to spend their print credit on extra digitals!
The Phainting

Let’s take a closer look at the phainting! Because it’s such a unique piece that no one else has in their home!
Printing it on canvas first allows it to be crisp (in contrast with someone who is painting from a blank canvas). Then it’s simply highlighted with paint to make something one of a kind. In the wedding photo shown, there were loads of people in the background that my sister painted over to make this more of a statement piece.

And why do prints matter? I know I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again – it boosts a kid’s confidence! There was a study from the studies that demonstrated this. Seeing themselves up on the wall allowed them to visualize that they are loved and valued. They can see where they fit in the family and that they belong. I have experienced this first hand.
